For me, art is a healing, restorative and meditative journey that helps ground me and gives me the tools to express myself. As the American artist Georgia O‘Keeffe writes, “I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for”. And though I have been a practicing artist for decades, I’m more grateful than ever to have a practice that integrates body, mind and spirit and helps keep me in the present moment.
These recent years have been challenging- we’ve spent more time at home and re-examined the spaces that we live in. There couldn’t be a better time to bring some bright, positive, healing energy into your home or into the home of a dear friend. What better way to nurture yourself or another?
